Misty City

Morning, heavy fog.

It's the weekend now, with nothing to do, I want to meet an online friend. When passing by a flower shop, I bought a bouquet of flowers and wrapped them in newspaper. Because of the traffic jam, I had to take the subway. Unexpectedly, when I got off the train, I found that the flowers were crushed, and to make matters worse, I lost my phone. The contact information of my online friend was all in it, so I had to find a nearby internet cafe to contact them again.

When looking for the internet cafe, I found myself lost and didn't know how, I ended up in a hotel. There was a girl sitting at the front desk playing on the computer. I approached and asked if there was an internet cafe nearby, but the girl didn't speak. She just stood up and picked up a lantern, gesturing for me to follow her. So I followed her through several maze-like corridors and hallways. The light became dimmer and dimmer, and the girl walked ahead with the lantern. The stairs led to the underground and were spiral-shaped, becoming steeper and darker. Along the wall next to the stairs, there were small windows. Through the small windows, with the dim and weak light, I discovered that there were many people lying in cages that were almost impossible to turn over. They were wearing handcuffs and leg irons. Suddenly, I seemed to be frightened by something, turned around, and ran out of the hotel in one breath.

The streets are filled with soldiers, and there is military training in the schools. In the distance, the sound of guns can be heard.

There is a stove burning in the room, and a man with a scar on his face is sitting next to it, silent.

I don't know where to go, really, in this unfortunate era, in this familiar yet unfamiliar city, I don't know where to go.
